The Adult Discipleship and Women's Ministry of Christ UMC offers many opportunities for adults of all ages and stages of life. There are Sunday School Classes and week day small groups for singles, men only, women only, couples and combinations of all of these. Study topics vary from books of the Bible to life directing topical subjects. Strong friendships are formed among members of these groups as they grow in their understanding of God and His plan for their lives. We welcome you to come and find that group that God has created with you in mind.

CHURCH-WIDE STUDY OF THE MIRACLES OF JESUS | 8:00 a.m., 9:15 a.m., & 10:40 a.m. | Various Locations
Jesus demonstrated the presence and power of God by performing miracles. He turned water into wine, healed the sick, calmed the storm, opened blind eyes, and raised the dead. While these beloved stories draw our attention to divine power, they also have something else in common: human desperation. Every time we see Jesus performing a miracle, we also get a glimpse into the gift of desperation, a gift that opens us to the dramatic power of God through our desperate need for him. Cost of study guide is $13.00. CLICK HERE for a full list of classes.

WORKING WOMEN’S LUNCH GROUP WITH JEAN TIPPIT | Noon
Even as I try to write this blurb for the church newsletter I am trying to balance spending quality time with my college–age daughter and do the job that is before me. It is simply difficult at times to get it all done. So when do we have time to sit with other women and talk about our spiritual lives? I want to invite you to join me at my home on Thursdays for lunch at noon. Lunch will be provided so all you have to do is come prepared to relax and enjoy the company of other working mothers as we grow spiritually. RSVP (not necessary but helpful) email firstname.lastname@example.org.
