Counseling Ministry

     Many life circumstances lead a person or family into the process of counseling.  The ultimate therapeutic goal of growth, however, is universal.  Growth involves the process of becoming more of the person God intends for us to be.  For this reason, our Counseling Ministry mission at Christ United Methodist Church is to promote growth by offering Christian-based support, encouragement, training and counsel, primarily for issues related to marriage and family.
     The caring and qualified members of our Counseling Ministry Team believe in the importance of utilizing counseling theory as well as theology and scripture as part of therapy.  Minimal fees are also important for establishing investment and responsibility in the counseling process.
