The Missions Ministry is an exciting area of ministry at our church. We know that God not only wants to minister to us, He also wants to minister through us. Here at Christ UMC, we are answering God's call by reaching out locally, nationally, and internationally. Our primary goal is to bring the name of Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him and to demonstrate His love, compassion, and saving grace.
We encourage everyone to get involved in one or more of the following ways:
- Pray for the missions we sponsor and our mission teams
- Give to Faith Promise to support missions here and around the world
- Serve at one of our local supported mission agencies
- Sign up for a mission trip

Casa Aleluya Children's Home, Guatemala | June 2-8, 2013
During this trip, we will serve in various capacities at Casa. In the past, we have painted, worked on plumbed, built various projects, and whatever the home needs in the way of projects. Guatemala Medical Mission Trip | June 2-8, 2013
This is a great opportunity for doctors, nurses, dentists, dental hygienists, medical and nursing students or anyone interested in serving in the villages of Guatemala and providing medical care. SIFAT - Lineville, AL | July 14-19, 2013
This is a mission training facility where upcoming 7th - 12th grade students will experience the day to day life of a missionary. Students will spend the night in a replica “third world” village and another night in the slum village; they will also do several days of local missions in the Lineville community. Middle School Houston Mission | July 28 - August 3, 2013
This is a great opportunity for middle school students to experience being the hands and feet of Christ in a controlled and safe environment. While in Houston, we will serve alongside the Wesley Foundation, providing basic home repair, maintenance and painting. If interested, contact Bill McLarty. Estimated cost: $150. High School Mission Trip | July 29 - August 2, 2013
During the week, we will have the opportunity to work with the Wesley Foundation to serve the poor and elderly community of Atlanta, GA. Our work may include building decks, wheel chair ramps, painting, yard work, etc. We will also attend an Atlanta Braves game (tickets are provided) and spend a day at Six Flags (tickets included). District Youth Week | August 8-10, 2013
We will gather with several other youth ministries in the Mobile area and serve a number of organizations in need. This is an excellent opportunity to make connections with other youth in the Mobile area. If interested,
