The Missions Ministry is an exciting area of ministry at our church. We know that God not only wants to minister to us, He also wants to minister through us. Here at Christ UMC, we are answering God's call by reaching out locally, nationally, and internationally. Our primary goal is to bring the name of Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him and to demonstrate His love, compassion, and saving grace.

We encourage everyone to get involved in one or more of the following ways:

  • Pray for the missions we sponsor and our mission teams
  • Give to Faith Promise to support missions here and around the world
  • Serve at one of our local supported mission agencies
  • Sign up for a mission trip

// UPCOMING MISSION TRIPS //

Guatemala | July 2-7, 2012
Casa Aleluya is near San Bartoleme, Guatemala. CUMC has been sending teams to Casa since 2004, and we have a wonderful relationship with founders Mike and Dottie Clark, as well as the missionaries and children of Casa. Chris Perry and Jesse Wilson, two of our own college students, are presently serving as missionaries at Casa. We have done many different projects over the years including plumbing showers, building kitchen cabinets, painting interior rooms and exterior areas, gardening, and an assorted amount of things. You do not need particular skills, just a willing, serving heart. This trip is available to anyone over the age of 18. The cost is about $1,200 per person. Please contact Brenda Davis at 251.422.6210 if you have questions.

Please email Brad Boland for more information.
